WHAT IS CHRONIC PAIN
Chronic pain is long standing pain that persists beyond the usual recovery period or occurs along with a chronic health condition, such as arthritis or following a traumatic injury (motor-vehicle accident or slip and fall). Chronic pain may be “on” and “off” or continuous. It may affect people to the point that they can’t work, eat properly, take part in physical activity, or enjoy life.
A chronic pain assessment, include pain severity, pain qualities, bodily distribution of pain, and temporal characteristics of pain and how pain affects daily functions. Upon completion of the assessment a comprehensive report will follow with recommendation to manage chronic pain.
We can apply for funding from the auto-insurer to cover the costs.
